dkwelch
I'm looking to upgrade the audio system in our small church. A pair of Klipsch KI-102's and a KI-115 sub seem like a good match for our facility. However, I can't find any of these products in my area nor can I locate dealers on-line. The Klipsch web site offers no help in the Commercial Audio area. I've e-mailed a couple of the the "contact us" addresses with questions about how to purchase these speakers and how to get pricing info but no answers. Maybe I can get some answers here. lhtf
Dear FarNorth, Have you gone to the main Klipsch web page and click on "Dealer Locator". It is at the top of the page. Then, put your zip code in the "Commerical Sound Contrator" area. If you still have a problem then call 1-800-554-7724 between 8 o'clock AM and 5 o'clock PM Eastern Time and talk to Pro Customer Service. If you still cannot get anything. Let me know what city you live in and I will try to get the information for you. LHTF
dkwelch
Thank you for your reply. I had used the dealer locator on the home page but with no success. It indicated none were in my area. I'm in Fairbanks, Alaska (which might account for that) though we're not so remote as many people think. I will try the 800 number and if I don't have success there, I'll get back you you here. If there are on-line sources that would be o.k. too. Thanks again for the prompt reply. Far North
CaptnBob
If you'll pardon my asking, why the subwoofer? Most church sound systems I've worked on were just used for voice, and the sub tends to interfere with that. Many times, simply hanging a something in the Heresy line over the pulpit (make sure you hang it right-you don't want it crashing down during a sermon, do you?) will give you more than enough output. Of course, I don't know what your church requires out of a p. a. - some services get pretty involved, with a full scale band and all. itsjustme
"Of course, I don't know what your church requires out of a p. a. - some services get pretty involved, with a full scale band and all." The church I go to is like that. We've got a sound system that would make almost every other church (and every other church around here) jealous It's REALLY nice. And it gets used a lot. Same with the lighting. For the original poster, 3 speakers total? With one a bass channel? That's seriously nowhere near adequate to fill all but a tiny room.
