lynnm
Phil O I would pass on it although it might well be possible for someone with the peoper skills and equipment to make it into a nice amplifier. PHIL O
I'm trying to find out if "tubes are for me" right now, but I'm willing to start out spening $100-$400.
leok
Are the tubes for HT or stereo, or some combination? leok

leok
Is there anything about the sound of your current system that you would like to improve? For example, tubes generally sound less harsh, smoother. The reason is their distortion at very low powers is low. Distortion of many transistor amps, at very low powers, is quite high. Since Klipsch speakers are very efficient, they operate at low powers, where the tube amps tend to have the lower distortion. Is that the kind of thing you are thinking about? leok
PHIL O
You've pretty much hit the nail on the head... also I like trying new things, well tubes are not so new, but new for me, people are raving about tubes, I wanna hear for myself.
