Wintermute Posted February 7, 2003 Share Posted February 7, 2003 Greetings All, I watch my DVDs on my computer. I use Intervideo's Windvd. What does everybody else use? What's the best PC DVD player? deimos Posted February 8, 2003 Share Posted February 8, 2003 I have WinDVD, PowerDVD, Windows Media Player and Nvidia's NVDVD. I personally can't stand WMP 7-9 for anything though I still like the 'old' 6.4 for DivX files. I personally like WinDVD because I find its interface to be a little more ergonomical than PowerDVD's and the visual quality is just a touch cleaner. PC-DVD is a nice novelty if nothing more. Image quality is reduced on a CRT, you lose the spatial effects and ambience of surround sound and your screen is typically much smaller. Of course this is all negligible if you've never watched movies on a semi-respectable home theater system. But yeah, anwyways... I pick WinDVD.
