Quenten
Hey Boa, good to hear from you again You know it really temps me to get those 10's. I don't think I would ever be satisfied though--the 20' & 30's add so much more. I ask if they were planning anything with them & they said no. Too bad, cause I fell in love with the 30's. He has his demo model (30's/which are banged up) out on the main floor marked down to $749 ea--not even hooked up, just out there, abandoned, like an ugly stepchild! It's enough to make a grown man cry. Oh well, we can always look forward to lusting after those new refs. We needs must love the highest when we hear it! boa12
yea quent, bargained (now horned) got his klf-30 demos from a dealer for like $300/pr. nobody should have to pay over 1300/pair new right now, but maybe they'll start to get a scarcity premium. i was going to hold off for the new refs, but the legends match up better w/ the cornwalls anyway. now the 2nd system is the ref w/ possible ref upgrades ------------------ Klipsch KLF-30 (front), KLF-C7, Cornwall I (rear) Velodyne HGS-18 sub woofer Monsterbass 400 sub interconnect & Monster S-12 cable Sony STR-DE935 a/v receiver Sony DVP-C650D cd/dvd player Sony Trinitron 27" stereo tv Toshiba hi-fi stereo vcr Technics dual cassette deck Technics direct drive turntable Scientific Atlanta Explorer 2000 digital cable box 2nd room: Klipsch RF-3 (front), RC-3, cheap little Technics (rear) Kenwood KR-9600 AM/FM stereo receiver (vintage '75) Teac PD-D1200 5-disk cd player Sega Genesis game player Sub: None yet rock on!
