Jabez Scratch
Bearing in mind that I am loving this whole home theatre phenom but that I am still learning, I have a nagging question re: crossover. I have the Quintets w/ the KSW-10 w/ a Pioneer Elite VSX-43, which has a default crossover setting of 80hz. My newbie question: what should I be setting my receiver crossover to and my sub crossover to? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Doc Holiday
the quintets only go down to about 120 hz faithfully, therefore you need the sub to make up for that other range, so you want your receiver cross over at the highest and the sub to close to the highest frequency
jzoz01
also, if you are going into the LFE input in the KSW10, it doesn't matter what you put the crossover to, as it is unfiltered. You only need to worry about the crossover on the sub if you are not using the lfe in.
