prodj101 Posted April 18, 2003 Share Posted April 18, 2003 I'm not sure exactly what you mean by this question but...I'm thinking you mean something like could you use RS-3's and RS-7's instead of only RS-3's? well, some people that are timbre purists may tell you no, but I don't really think it would be a problem. The surround channels don't make alot of important sounds (mainly things like rain falling or a roaring crowd) so in my eyes, it's not that important that they be identical with each other, or even the mains.
