Problems with ProMedia 4.1

Recommended Posts

I recently purchased the ProMedia 4.1 speakers. They sound great, but I have a problem. Just to give you some background, I have a SBLive! Value card, with Live!Ware 3.0 and the latest drivers.

I can't get all four speakers working! Whatever pair, be it rear or front, when plugged into the black port, are the only ones that will work! The other pair will simply give me static when in the green port (and I've tried plugging them in the other ports, just to see what would happen, to no avail.)I know all the speakers can work (its just they need to be in the black port.)

I have the settings in the SBLive! set at 4 speakers. What should I do?

Yeah. I've played around with my controls quite abit and found that when you have Digital only selected it Shuts off your Front speakers, but keeps the rears going..

Its weird....

And thats exactly what I was going to suggest what it was smile.gif

Glad you got it working

( you learn something new every day )

make sure 'digital output only' is not checked in the surround mixer. You can also find it in the windows volume controls, in 'advanced' under the main volume.

The digital out port is also the rear speaker (black) port.

Caring is the first step toward disappointment.
