Malcolm Posted June 21, 2003 Share Posted June 21, 2003 K-56? Do you mean the ones on eBay right now. I don't think a K-56-K was ever used in a Heresy. I think they are actually K-53-Ks. The second numeral is smeared. K-52-H and K-53-K replace K-55-V in the Heresy in the 80s. Which is better is up to you. The K-55-V and the K-53-K sound a bit different to me. But they are close. The switch from K-55-V to K-53-K in the Heresys was a cost cutting move. But that does not necessarily mean the sound is worse. Some folks prefer the sound of the K-55-V, some the K-53-K.
