amonteiro
My HK 525 allows you to use A-bus for the speakers and remote in multi room. but what is A-bus and how does it work. I could barely find any information anywhere about it including the HK website. Has anyone here implemented this?
damonrpayne
The 325 has it as well. As far as I can tell from the manual, a-bus is basically a standard whereby you can control the "B" set of speakers via a keypad. You'd have to go buy a special keypad and connect it up. amonteiro
yeah, it seems like you use a cat-5 cable to a module in another. The speaker wire(speakers) and remote work of this module. Is this correct? Does anyone know where you can get this module.
damonrpayne
Higher end audio stores will have them in some of their rooms. I don't know any manufacturers to give you an idea of what it will run. Its not really a feature I'm interested in as I'll eventually be using the last 2 speaker connections as part of a 7.1 system.
amonteiro
I'm not sure if I will end up using it either. More curious then anything. Has anyone else here used it?
