lovedrummin Posted May 13, 2001 Share Posted May 13, 2001 Well folks this is my first post. I've enjoyed reading the various messages so far and find them to be very informative. My current "stereo" system is about 21 years old. It's time to upgrade and get into home theater (probably this summer). The room I'll be setting up in is 12x12x8. I'm drooling over the Denon AVR 2801 and the Klipsch Reference series: RB5, RS3, RC3 and KSW12 for the sub. I have several questions 1) will the AVR 2801 be able to handle the Reference speakers satisfactorily 2)will the Reference speakers be too loud for this size room or are we talking quality vs quantity/volume here. So far I've only had a chance to hear the Synergy SB3 and SB2 line. I hope to go check out the Reference line very soon. Has anyone used this particular matchup?
