I am french and i want a pair of K-77 alnico but i have the oportunity to buy a pair of T-35 electro voice tweeters , i know they are alnico but are they exactly the same???. I have "Cornwalls" with K-77-M,K-55-V, K-33-E and the type B crossover and would like to experiment the K-77 alnico with my "Eico HF 81" integrated... Thank you in advance! cwm
My understanding is the units are one and the same BUT, the units used in the Klipsch are all individually tested for uniformity of quality and performance.......... Rick.
CaptnBob
CWM is right. The tweeters were tested by Klipsch, and the ones that didn't pass muster were sent back to Electro-Voice, where they were presumably sent out to the world as T-35s. That said, you'd probably be all right using the T-35s in your system.
