KWTX
I have the R7s for the front, center and surrounds. I'd like to add a rear speaker to try the 6.1 and 7.1 formats, but space is severely limited behind our seating area. Our recliners are almost against the rear wall to facilitate viewing the widescreen. Would it be feasible to put a RC 25 under the side table between our two chairs, angled upwards at, say, a 45 degree angle? At that position it would bounce the sound off the paneling which runs 36" up the wall from the floor. Think this might work? Keith
jdm56
How about a RS-25? The tweeter horns are angled out, so they should provide good response to both seating loacations.
PhilMays
I second the RS solution. Why not the RS-7. Can you perhaps audition both speakers at home. At one time I used a rc-3 in the exact same position you are discribing and it just did not sound that great. Perhaps you could use a wall speaker mount a place a RS-? on the wall above the chairs angled down.
