This may be of interest, since it has been under discussion lately: www.tubecad.com/april99/page4.html This also contains useful formulas for calculating the value of the capacitor. In my case, I'm ging to make some changes, with the 47uf being tried as the cathode resistor bypass cap, and the 10uf used as the output capacitor from the OPT to cathode.
