Btrigg Posted May 23, 2001 Share Posted May 23, 2001 Klipsch had a lot of issues with a leak in the lf-10, and I guess they thought it would cost too much to continue. The LF-12 was never released, while the lf-10 was $500 on ubid for awhile. The lf-10 was a pretty good sub, but it wasn't as good as the price of $1300. The rsw line is the replacement which will be out very soon. They are virtually the same only they have aluminum woofers and there is only one passive instead of two. Klipsch gives out high numbers on their subs that usually aren't entirely true. The lf series was supposed to play at 16 hz at 123 db, while they didn't even come close with the final product.
