bigsexy1
Just wondering, as I've noticed that the KSP S6s were recomended as the surrounds for the KLFs. Does that mean you could mix and match other speakers of the 2 series together? Has anyone tried this?
avman
i chose the ksp-s6's because: the position of the surrounds in my ht room made me think they would be better than rs-7's.they are slightly(2ft.)behind me, so w/the s6's i get 1 woofer and 1 horn facing my sweet spot/vs./1 horn only w/the rs-7. the manual recommended them,so for a 'matching the manual'thing. as far as the other speakers in the line, i will defer that ? to those who own them, but i would think they would NOT match well. try pm'ing T2K (he has them.) avman. T2K
I've never mixed both lines together, but I have heard/owned both to some extent. I don't know which speakers you've thought of mixing together, but I doubt it would work well at all. Without trying to describe the sound of both lines I would just say that the Synergy Premiere speakers sound is more laid back than the Legends. That is, less mid range heavy. To my ears anyway. YMMV. Using KSP surrounds, as Steve and many others do, seems to work well for them. I personally would not mix the fronts/centers. Hope this helps.
