Warrany?

Well, my amp is crapping out(static w/ volume adjustment) I believe it falls under Klipsch's warrany. That's good but I can't seem to find my reciept. I know I have it somewhere around the house, but I can't find it. I purchased them on 2/12/2001. I know that is the exact date, but I can't return them to best buy without the reciept. Is there any way I could get Klipsch to send me a replacement without proof of purchase? Any input would be much appreciated...

Ok, I found my reciept and I got the 2 year service plan from Best Buy...I called the hotline to getthem to replace and I get cut off. AND I was looking at the warranty...the person who sold the service planto me gave me the wrong one..it's for products under $200..they better not say they won't replace them or there will be hell to raise =)
