Clint Phare Posted January 26, 2001 Share Posted January 26, 2001 I would like to do the Mortite wrap this weekend. Is anyone familiar with the way of getting to the sqwaker in a split B cabinet? ( I think the driver is mounted from behind the front baffle ) This is the version with seperate cabinet for the sqwaker and tweeter. Any help would be appreciated! Hauck Posted January 27, 2001 Share Posted January 27, 2001 Clint, I did this about a year ago . . . there are four screws (two on each side) that hold the front grill / squawker / tweeter horn mounting board to the upper cabinet. Once you remove these screws, as well as unscrew the crossover, unbolt the rear squawker brace, and pull the bass horn cable up through the hole leading to the bass horn, you can pull the mounting board out from the front of the upper cabinet.
