swissy
I thought about moving my old pair of KG 4's to my home theater. How well would these match up with my RC $ RB 25? Or should I stick with the RB-35. I want to move the RB-35's to my study, but only if the KG 4's will work well in the HT.
dougdrake
Since you have all the items on hand, your best bet is to just try it and see. Pay attention to how well the RC-25 mates to the KG4s with sounds that pan across the front, or use a test disk like Avia to compare how well they match versus your RBs. The designated center channel for the KG4 is the KV-2/KV-3, but you probably already know that. DD
swissy
I did try using Avia. However, there was a little different sound as it moved across the sound stage, but nothing to get excited about. I guess I was wondering if there was such a large difference in age that voice matching was going to be a problem. Or more to the point, I think it is a good match for my room just not the "exact" match. Will this be a problem?
