meb1 Posted June 7, 2001 Share Posted June 7, 2001 I like the features on this model and can get a good deal by mailorder however, the last Yamaha receiver I tried awhile back sound too bright with my KLF-20's. It didn't have the new TOP-ART design as the HTR-5280 has. Has anyone tried this receiver with their Klipsch? If so, were you happy with the sound quality? Thanks in advance. From what I understand (and you can verify this on Yamaha's website) the RX-800 and HTR-5280 are the same receiver, with a few cosmetic differences.
