sargeglez
Since I hooked up my KSW 12 using speaker level connections few days ago, the power switch is set to auto but the lite is always green, even when I turn the receiver off. Crossover is set to 100 Hz. Does any body knows the reason why? I'd appreciate your help.
boa12
to be sure, i'd unhook all the connections except the power. if it then still stays green on auto (flick the power mode switch back & forth a few times), i think it's be safe to say something's wrong w/ the ksw. if u then unhook the power & it still stays green then either light is hitting the diode or it's posessed. sorry. but besides the light, you should also hear some electrical noise when the ksw powers down after 10 min. or so. good luck. ------------------ Klipsch KLF 30 (front), KLF C-7, Cornwall I (rear) Velodyne HGS-18 sub woofer Monsterbass 400 sub interconnects & Monster CX-2 biwire & Z-12 cable Marantz SR-8000 receiver Sony DVP-C650D cd/dvd player Sony Trinitron 27" stereo tv Toshiba hi-fi stereo vcr Technics dual cassette deck Scientific Atlanta Explorer 2000 digital cable box Boa's Listenin Lounge: Klipsch RF-3 (front), RC-3, cheap little Technics (rear) Monster MCX Biwires Sony STR-DE935 a/v receiver Kenwood KR-9600 AM/FM stereo receiver (vintage 1975) Russound AB-2 receiver switch to RF-3 Teac PD-D1200 5-disk cd changer Technics SL-1950 turntable/AT LS500 cartridge Sega Genesis game player Sub: None yet rock on! boa12
s, which one worked? flicking the switch back & forth?
sargeglez
I unhooked all the connections and hooked them again, later on I flicked the switch back and forth three or four times. Now the auto setting works fine.
