Darren
I've just picked up my first separates (Rotel 1095 Amp and 1066 processor). The amp has balanced and RCA connections to the processor, but the processor only has RCA inputs. I picked up some Monster cable RCA cables, but does anyone have a recommendation for something else? One shop was pushing digital coaxel cables, but I didn't think those were suited for this purpose - any hints? Thanks
easylistener
The good RCA cable is fine. The balanced is better but your processor doesn't have them.
DrWho
The RCA cables will be just fine. The only thing balanced cables will do for you is cancel out any EMF that the cables might pick up, but if you don't hear it with shielded RCA, then you're not missing out on anything.
