well, if there was a drive that could decode it I think that anything gained in quality over CD would be lost after the signal was passed through the average sound card. But otherwise, no I don't think there is any consumer SACD decoding software/hardware for the computer yet.

Yes, most any dvd player will play DVD-Audio, but it will only be as good as a regular dvd or cd. You need a dedicated DVD-Audio player to get the full fidelity.

Both DVD-Audio and sacd disks seem to be failure in sales, I guess for the reason mentioned above.
