jvcarter Posted March 4, 2004 Share Posted March 4, 2004 Sorry to post this here, I feel like it is out of place but I have always gotten good answers on this forum. My situation: I have the RPTV listed above and when I run any of the video set ups, the contrast seems to be messed up. If anyone is familar with the Sound and Vision disc, you are to look for the blooming of the white boxes and stop adjusting contrast there. Even when I turn my contrast all the way up, I still see clear distinctions off all of the white boxes. I am having similar results using the THX setup found on many DVD's. Has anyone had a simlar problem? Could this be an issue with my DVD player? I have the Samsung HD931 hooked up with the DVI input.
