Ice Cold Posted July 2, 2001 Share Posted July 2, 2001 I couldn't see my reply in my other topic and it's rather Important so here it is; I e-mailed Klipsch and was told that I might have a bad set where the sub heats up so bad you get distortion? Well I wanna be positive since I got a ways to drive and packing to do if I take these back. The Static seems to be coming from the front right outlet... because I've changed the speaker, the wire, the position, muted everything, adjust volume on the computer, etc. Still the static reamians... it comes and go's though. Anyways my point... I woke up last morning and this and static was still there while the sub was COLD... so does this mean I don't have the bad set or once it has time to heat up the first time it will always be a little distorted? I haven't always had this static, and I have noticed the sub gets quite hot. Anyway I can tell for sure? Thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
