PatHaugen
Looking to find a professional to help develop the PERFECT sound for a new church we are moving into. It's old, high ceilings, hard surfaces , and we're looking to put professional sound in it. Other churches in the area spend $80k, $120k, and one even $800k for their systems , however I feel they got the short end... the systems they have just aren't all that. Anyone know what an audio/visual professional is called? Or how about a specialist in just audio or visuals? I imagine paying someone a few grand to come in, look at the setup, all the seats, and say, "buy this this and this, position them here here and here." Then he oversees the start and end of the implimentation. I've searched and asked around, but you guys seem to be experts, what are your thoughts? We need some expert soon to check the place out. Speakers, monitors, projection, wiring, possibly sound dampening... what are the experts called? Anyone know if a movie theatre expert would go for a project like this? THX architechs or the like? PatHaugen
Okay, I'm looking through the Klipsch pro audio and figure there has to be some professional that can go into a venue and know exactly what speakers to use, where to put them, and how to wire it all I'm really pressed for a pro here, does Klipsch have professionals that will come out and do this? I will buy all Klipsch or any equal in quality for the best pro they have if I can get a pro to set it up. Once again, speakers, monitors, this is all for a church band type to perform every sunday, and the pastor to be heard crystal clear all in an olderr high ceiling church. RossVTaylor
Hi Pat, I can't give you the direct answer you want, but since nobody else has posted yet I thought I'd at least steer you to someone who should know the answer. Give Dennis Erskine a call. His phone numbers are listed on his website at: http://www.designcinema.com/ I'll be he can offer some guidance.
