hoggy
Hi guys, I opened up my bass bins to rewire them tonight. Seems I have the K-33-P in them. I know the early Khorns used the K-33-J (Jensen) and later ones used the E. Never heard or knew of a P though. How does the P rate against the J and E? BTW they were signed inside by BOB N. HDBRbuilder do you remember or know him? My Khorns are 1971's. I know you worked there much later but maybe he was an old timer when you were there. Thanks guys, hoggy
hoggy
Never mind guys. Guess I should have done a search 1st. Although not a lot of info on them. hoggy
Q-Man
One of my older pairs of LaScalas had the Square Magnet K-33P woofers in them. I replaced them with the K-33E, because somewhere around here I was told that there is an improvement in the sound with the K-33E. I never did an A/B comparison. I bet you can sell the P's on ebay for about what it will cost you for some new E's from Klipsch.
bdc
What, if any, differences would there be in putting a newer K-33-E into a pair of older Klipschorns (which have K-33-Bs).
