njt Posted July 11, 2001 Share Posted July 11, 2001 I am looking at the following setup: 2 RF-5 front 4 RS-3 rear and side surrounds (7.1 system) 1 rsw-15 sub (hopefully soon) Everything will be driven by an Onkyo 989 The dilemma is: should I get an RC-3 or an RC-7 for the center channel. Please enlighten me with your opinions/experiences since you guys seem to know a heck of a lot more about this stuff than any (or all combined) salesperson at the audio store. Even though the RS-3 and RS-7 have identical specs (except for their efficiency, which the receiver can compensate for), would it make a difference as to which one I use or will they be about the same.
