Jay1974
I have RF 3's and a synergy centre channel speaker(Got it cheap) I can get a good deal on SB-3's which I would use as rear surround speakers. Do you think these speakers would fit in well in this setup or should I be looking at purchasing Synergy ss-1's or synergy bookshelf speakers? My room isn't huge so I don't think I need anything bigger. I can't afford to get a whole reference line system either. I have a sony amp STR DE975. My plans are to pick up a sub later to complete the system. Any advice would be great. Thanks
Scp53
Does your center match with you mains? If they do then I d go with the SB 3's. It should have a little more low end than the ss-1. but the ss-1's will provide better/more even coverage when set up properly. good luck on you choice. scp53
