mpetrich Posted June 15, 2004 Share Posted June 15, 2004 I recently purchased a Niles VCS HUB8 to clean up some wiring. http://www.nilesaudio.com/pdffiles/manuals/Volume_Controls/VCS_HUB8.pdf I know that this particular model was intended to run to multiple sets of speakers operated by seperate volume controls, but I got it nearly free and it fits in my network interface box nicely. In the manual it states " Caution! Every speaker pair in the system must be connected to an impedence-magnifying volume control and set to the same magnification." My question is this. If I am only connecting one pair of output speakers(surrounds) to the input, can I ignore the above warning? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
