The ONLY differnce between these two amps is that the 200.5 = 200 watts per channel and the AV-6000 MKII is 125 per channel, correct ? ( I know the 6000 offers 6 channels and the 200.5 only has 5 channels ) ......Are the insides the same quality components?

I own a B&K ST 2140 which is a two channel amp that produces 140 watts. It is a nice amp, but does not even come close to the 200 watt reference amps. The reference amps use 5 pairs of MOS-FET output devices per channel. My amp uses two pairs. The reference amps also have better power supplies.

One effect is that the refence amps drive low impedance loads more effectively than their lower watt amps. They produce more bass and more detail.
