om13934 Posted September 6, 2004 Share Posted September 6, 2004 Just a quick question... Far Cry takes about 2 to 3 mins. from when I put the cd in the drive to actually start playing. Is this normal. (I thought my 52x reader and athalon 64 3000+ would go faster) I've heard that some dvd/cd drives are incompatable but my drive isn't on any list I could find. Haven't tried either but they both are recomended from forums i go to. http://www.cd-rw.org/software/cdr_software/cdr_tools/daemon_tools.cfm http://www.elby.ch/products/clone_dvd/manual/drive.html I use CloneDVD and Anydvd and they are very reliable.
