fps_fox
i was playing this song, i think it was a bass test, and i doubt it went below 24hz. but i could clearly hear air coming from the sub. Is this a bad thing??
Movie Freak
I'm listening to the THX-Ultimate Sub test right now. First thing is my ears feel funny, like their bleeding or something, secondly I think your hearing the sub's drivers rapidly thumping and not actually hearing air. I think the track is supposed to do that. But I'm not an engineer or supreme audio-phile so we'll wait for one of them to reply to get the technical reason! Movie Freak
First off sorry for the double post. I was wondering what your sub output was set at? Maybe too high?
Seb
yes, it IS air coming out of the port. the port has a tuning frequency, and when you have a lot of ouptut below that frequency, and the port is not big enough, you can hear more air than actual bass. it's perfectly normal, nothing to worry about.
