The answer to the latter depends on what you have now - it might be an upgrade for you and it might not. IMO, Acurus is a great high-power, high-current, low-distortion amp, especially for the money. Dflip Posted November 10, 2004 Share Posted November 10, 2004 I have one and a Rl-11 preamp that goes with it. It is a good amp and provides great detail and imaging with the right interconnects. The downside is can be a little on the bright side after 45 minutes or so, typical of SS amps with Klipsch. It sounds good with other less efficient speakers.
