grady
hk avr20ii has two sub outputs, the one im looking to upgrade to (hk avr230) has only one. they both have pre-amp outputs and the avr230 seems to be at a reasonable price. around $350. first of all how should connect 3 sub-woofer amps to the two sub-outs? second can i connect 3 subs to one output? hk avr20ii, carver-tfm15, ksw-12, nht2.5i, polk rti38 center, cerwin-vega re-30 rear, yamaha cdc-635, $40 mintek dvd1600, esotric auido 12 ga speaker wire, monster cable interconnects,

nicholtl
Try splitting one of the sub-outs using a Y-connector, which would then be used in conjunction with 2 separate sub cables leading to each line-level input of two separate subs. grady
sub-outs designated l and r so i think i will split them both to keep things balanced between the subs in the two main speakers, then combine l and r to the ksw12. all this is out the window if i go with the newer avr230. im not shure if i like the idea of a mono sub-out.
