cdsang
I had trouble with my receiver shutting off when turned it up and chacked my wires and they were fine. So I opend up my reciver seeing what I could do. First thing I did was take out my AM/FM tuner sence I never use it. Then I disconnected my video section of the pre-amp sense I connect everything directly to the TV. I wouldn't of done these things if I couldn't put it back the way it was. The receiver is still working and if you can belive it, sounds better. Some things it had trouble with in music came out easyer. I haven't had as much trouble with it shutting off lately either. I honestly don't feel there is a change in my life expect the music sounds a bit better. My only concern is the power supply may end out over powering some circuts when pushed. I don't think the amp or pre-amp will suffer but maybe something else. Was this a bad idea? Happy holidays everyone. CD
