chinoloco
I think you can get a very decent projector with Infocus and save a few bucks over high end sharps and sonys. I like Infocus because they use Faroudja processors. As for everything else, go and listen. Choosing is half the fun unless you don't have good stores near you. chinoloco

BUT there is one major question you must ask yourself. Will you have control of the light in your room. Meaning, does your basement have windows? is it a daybasement or is it a fully closed in dark basement? if you have windows, you will want to figure out how to keep light from coming in. All this UNLESS, you get a projector with high lumes. Ambiant light can reek havic on your viewing experiance when running projectors. If you have control of the lighting situation, then projectors are great. You can make that image as big as you want. ---------------- mOOn, I thought the newer DLP projectors removes some of the problems with ambiant lighting? I was going to look into projectors myself, but I stay with a TV because its easier for the wife to figure out. chinoloco93
