amonteiro
I'm looking for a cheap amp/receiver to run a pair of 4 ohm speakers. A friend of mine is willing to sell me a NAD C350 for 300 or a Nakamichi RE2 for 150. Are these comparable enough where I can go with the Nak? Are the prices good? jt1stcav
If the power rating of the 4 ohm loudspeakers match up within the rated output power of either amps, then I'd go for whichever amp/receiver has the best sound/condition/features/price. JMHO.
amonteiro
They both do. So I'm still indecisive.
jt1stcav
Then I'd go for whichever amp/receiver has the best sound/condition/features/price. Not being familiar with either, I have owned Nakamichi cassette decks over the years and they're still the best IMO. I'd personally go for the Nakamichi...why is it only $150 cheaper than the NAD? Difference in power ratings/features, etc.?
amonteiro
I believe that the nak is older. There power rating is the same. I think I'm leaning towards the Nak at this point.
Guest Anonymous
as far as car audio goes nak is just incredible, i have never heard anything bad from nak before from the car poinjt of view, but i am not sure about house stuff, i just bought 2 nad amps myself and like them both but i'd imagine the nak is a good product too
