I really like the RW-8 because it is a klipsch and it is only $350 or so. My floorstanding speakers have a 12" sub in each of them. my reciever has the option to do a double bass which will play all sound for sub frequencies on both the floorstanding and powered subwoofer during movies. my room where the stereo is is about 400 sq. ft. will the RW-8 be loud enough by itself or should I do the double bass thing and play the sub in the floorstanding and powered sub. thanks in advance, Dom Allen Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
DrWho Posted December 29, 2004 Share Posted December 29, 2004 Honestly, if your mains low frequency capabilities outdo that of your subwoofer, then I wouldn't waste the money going with the sub.
