wyattearp
Does anyone have either or both of these receivers? How do they perform for HT and 2-channel? I am aware that the Arcam is considerably more than the Elite and doesn't have an onboard calibration system. The dealer I found highly recommended the Arcam over the Elite for 2-channel. Thanks. jdm56
I've got a 55TXi and I like it real well for multi or two channel. The MCACC is a REAL benefit - not subtle at all! I'm not familiar with the particular Arcam model you mention, but I have read many glowing reviews of Arcam products. Arcam generally offers high build quality and high basic audio performance, while maybe being a bit behind in the "bells and whistles" category. The Elite offers one heck of a lot of value, in my opinion. Whether the higher basic quality of the Arcam translates into audibly worthwhile performance superiority over the Pioneer is gonna have to be your call!
