analogman
Very sad. The past three years have not been good, lost a lot of giants. Puts the value of recording in it's most appropriate and meaningful perspective, Music. Thank you Mr. Edison. Analogman

I was mentioning to my secretary today that she should find a copy of Hillary and Jackie and watch it. I was struck by that film because of the way it was composed. Even though the article says it was sensationalistic, it is STILL extremely well done. Thanks for sharing this article, Mr. Parrot. peace, Woo
Parrot
You're welcome, Woo. The thing that offended many about the "Hilary and Jackie" movie was its focus on the sensational and sordid aspects of her love life. Not everyone cares to know those kinds of People-magazine details. The musical portions were thrilling though. Speaking of cellists, I had the great pleasure of listening to Gregor Piatigorsky yesterday on one of the brand new RCA Living Stereo SACDs. I don't know a thing about his love life and wouldn't want to. Check out the $8.39 price! http://www.cduniverse.com/productinfo.asp?pid=6810741&cart=227188196&style=music&Bab=D
