maxg
http://playlistmag.com/reviews/2005/02/sonos/index.php A new digital hub that does so much more than standard fare it boggles the mind. Highlights include a tripath digital amp built in (50 wpc into 8 ohms). DAC and ADC, wireless and wired, full room/zone controls both individual and as groups in any combo etc. etc. etc. Frankly I didnt understand it all - but the remote control looks to be the coolest thing I have seen in a while and the abilites seem limitless. Got to be of interest to someone!
Daddy Dee
I didn't understand it all either, but it is a creative improvement on what's out there right now. Thanks for posting, Max.
maxg
I have read that article a couple of times. Trying to figure out if noe linked a phono stage to the thing would you be able to capture the resultant wav file on a PC. I know you could - just not quite how. Could be a great way to rip a vinyl collection to digital - as every time you played a record you could rip it on the computer tucked away in another room. Seems it could be a real cool way to do this - and the convenience from that point on would be a real winner.
