Alex018 Posted February 13, 2005 Share Posted February 13, 2005 I blew one of the drivers and a tweeter on the other of my KSB 3.1's. I contacted Klipsch to talk about replacements for them and they said they carried replacements in stock, but knew nothing else about them. Does anyone out there know if their replacements are EXACT replacements, or are they just Klipsch compatible? The only reason I ask is in the past when I have had to order replacement components on older speakers I received not an exact replacement, but what they offered at that time. It physically fit in the cabinet, but the specs weren't even close to the OME piece. I can't say this ever happened to me dealing with Klipsch, but with another speaker manufacturer (I won't mention any names, but it has 4 letters, starts with a "P", and rhymes with the word "smoke").
