BillH2121
A local audio dealer lost his McIntosh franchise and is willing to sell MC 2102 demo for his cost plus 10%. I've heard that the 2102 may be light in the bass - opinions? A good deal or could I do better?
drawtheline77
I would jump on it, I have the MC275, which is quite nice, this one has more juice, cant go wrong here, could always sell it and get your money back, maybe more. good luck. Colin
how much are they used?
BillH2121
The four or five times that I've been in the store over the last five months, the 2102 was rarely on. They were usually running a Conrad-Johnson tube amp to demo their speakers. In fact, when I listened to RF-7s there, they never ran Mac, just the C-J. I'm getting ready to go look at the Mac again this morning. When the dealer mentioned the sale to me a few weeks ago, I didn't think I would be able to buy the amp, WAF and all. Now, my wife maight be on board if its a good deal. It would nmean that I had to give up my MC 2125 though - a tough thing to do for me (sentimental attachment).
