BillH2121
I just got the MC2102(tube - 100w x 2)this week to replace my MC2125 (SS - 120w x 2)and I love the great tube sound. However, I thought while I was waiting for someone to buy my 2125, I might make use of it by bi-amping my RF-7s. Questions: 1) If I use the 2125 to push the low end, will I degrade the tube sound I'm now enjoying? 2) Can my C 26 run both amps? (there's two main outputs on back but is there sufficient output?) 3) Can I assume that I can adjust the bass (2125) by adjusting the gain on that amp and the preamp volume knob will control total volume of both amps? 4) Am I better off leaving the 2102 to do all the work and let the 2125 rest until sale? Thanks for your help. I know there's another thread about bi-amping, but I'm wondering about the interplay of these two amps.
