dan614614 Posted March 11, 2005 Share Posted March 11, 2005 Hello everybody, this is my first Klipsch purchase, and I can't wait to hook this bad boy up. I'm missing something though. I got a great (I think) deal on the SB1 pair and SS.5 pair. I know the SC.5 is part of the original series, would I be okay getting the SC-1 or would this cause problems with the sound matching? Also, if I buy either of these through an auction site and the seller has the original receipt, does anyone know if I'm still protected under warranty? Thanks for your help! Scp53 Posted March 11, 2005 Share Posted March 11, 2005 congrats on the purchase and welcome to the forum. the sc1 will match fine, no problem. as for the warrenty, i think the warrenty is ONLY for the original buyer. so you'd have no warrenty if you went second hand. however, klipsch speakers are VERY reliable and you probably wont have to service them for a long time(unless you over drive them). scp53 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
