dochanson
I just ordered a Promedia 2.1 set, and see that input is primarily through s-video. The only problem is that my laptop doesn't have an s-video out. What is the best way of inputing an audio source? Through a s-video/mini-plug converter? Through USB? Or is there a way to simply connect mini-plug to mini-plug on the mid/tweeter speaker? Thanks, Bruce
Rick
All you have to do is hook up the mini plug cable from the control pod to the headphone out on your laptop.
Rick
To add to that here is NOT an S-Video input on the 2.1's. It looks like one but it is not. The cable from the control pod with the S-Video like end goes to the back of the sub. It controls the volume of the system and the sub. Enjoy your speakers they are great. I owned them until I upgraded to the 5.1 Ultras.
dochanson
Thanks for the info! I haven't had the chance to look at them closely.
