I had a C-7 first, but this thing blows it away or sound and clarity, especially at very loud volumes, like reference level. I've added bucking magnets for shielding. Speaker is mahogony with a hammertone silver face. I also have the grill. Would need to be a local pick up as I don't have the box for it.
