amonteiro
I have started seeing AC3 on DVD' lately what does that mean? I thought that was the same as Dolby. But then why wouldn't they just write Dolby 5.1? Go here to see what I mean http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp;jsessionid=RFAFZRWHRKJB1KC4D3HVAGQ?id=cat02015&type=category&categoryRep=cat02000
hjones4841
AC3 is the old, original name for Dolby Digital 5.1. Dunno why the site is listing it, since the term AC3 has been out of general use for several years.
amonteiro
Yeah, Thats what I thought too. It seems like they are using it near the word subtitles. Very strange.
