Hub_Cap
I have a set of Klipsch 5.1. Until recently things were working fine. Recently though I can't get any sound from the speakers...only from the Headphone ports. When I hit the master button to turn on/off the speakers, I notice that the sound from the sub-woofer doesn't have the typical thump....its now just like a switch turning on (but I can hear it). I call myself checking all the settings in the computer regarding muting etc. but still no sound from any of the speakers....anyone have any idea whats my situation is? Thanks in advance.... scriven
Um Is it getting power? And, welcome to the forum!
Hub_Cap
Yes --- it's getting power from what I can tell. The module works fine (for headphones), and the subwoofer is plugged into the outlet, but nothing.....
Hub_Cap
Does the Promedia 5.1 have a fuse in the subwoofer that may be gone?
scriven
There is a separate section of the forum for the promedia line. (Further down on the main forum page.) You might get a better response by posting your problem there. Good Luck!
Hub_Cap
Thanks --- took a look at the Promedia 5.1 forum...and it appears that I'm not alone in my misery. Oh well -- at least they'll know what my options are. thx again for the tip on the location for specific Promedia questions.
