Jay481985
I do not see why not since it uses the same dock connector? Just a new backplate is probably needed
007
someone reported the sounddock not working with the video, this is why i asked.
Jay481985
it should not since i have a 60 gig ipod photo which the photo and the music both come out of the mini stereo. The yellow, red, and white rca cables come all from the miniplug so I am assuming the video is streaming through the rca cable and ultimately the ifi would not have sound as I guess you need to go through the headphone. Unless you do the miniplug version and not the dock
Larry1
Yes. I was at a Apple store where they had a 30 GB video IPod working perfectly with the iFi. 60 GB should work too. It should have a plastic adapter to prevent wobble when seated in iFi volume pod.
Moderators Amy Posted November 6, 2005 Moderators Share Posted November 6, 2005 I believe the 60g one will work with an adapter we have included. We are developing one that will work with the 30.
Jay481985
my recent post was based on trying to listen to music and watch a video at the same time. It was not meant for playing just music.

So you have to use the AV cable because you can't use the universal dock connector in the iFi controller pod to output AV. Perhaps Klipsch or an competitor will come out with a breakout extender that allows the Video iPod to sit up a little higher from iPod gear but offer a AV and computer interface connections in addition to universal dock connector feedthru. Sure beats having to redesign iPod gear everytime Apple adds that next great thing!

I'm mistaken--the adapter that comes with it is close, but the ipod still won't be secure. We're working on adapters for both the 60g and 30g, as well as the Nano.
